Gem State Disc Golfers hosted the 2009 series of PDGA disc golf tournaments in southern Idaho. We added an exciting new event, the Magic Valley Shootout at dual courses in Twin Falls (College of Southern Idaho and Rock Creek Park).
Payouts for each tournament were 100% of entry fees ... for half the field in each division.
Players accumulated Series Points for each event, and used the top PDGA points from the best four of the six events. The Male Pro Open (MPO) and Advanced Amateur (MA1) Champions each received a $100 cash bonus. Trophies were awarded to the series champions and top players in each division.
