I shot in the BPO and got my first taste of organized competition and I think I'm hooked, so I'm thinking of heading down and shooting league tonight and have a couple of questions...


1. So if I bring $25 that will cover my GSDC membership and league fees right?
2. Am I gonna piss off anyone I get teamed up with since I don't have an established handicap?
3. Where do you guys meet for sign-ups?

Great questions Matt. Getting hooked is easy, disc golf is like crack.

1. So if I bring $25 that will cover my GSDC membership and league fees right?

$20 covers your club membership, which includes a bag tag and discounts at some local merchants - McU's being the one with the best disc selection. $5 for league, and depending on the night it may be a team format or a singles format. Your bag tag also lets you play on Thursday nights at 6pm for bag tags, FREE!

2. Am I gonna piss off anyone I get teamed up with since I don't have an established handicap?

If anyone gets pissed off, send them to me and I will set them straight. The chances of that happening are slim to none.

3. Where do you guys meet for sign-ups?

The practice basket near the softball fields across the parking lot from holes 2/3.
